Workplace prevention of sexual harassment training and resources

Sexual harassment remains pervasive and underreported in Australian workplaces, causing significant harm to individuals and organisations. Certain workplace environments—particularly those that are high-risk or lack appropriate policies, training, and leadership—can increase the likelihood of harassment occurring.

Working Women’s Centre Victoria delivers tailored workplace training and practical resources to support employers to build safe, respectful, and legally compliant workplaces.  Our training is specifically designed to help employers meet their obligations under the Sex Discrimination Act 1984 (Cth), the Equal Opportunity Act 2010 (Vic), and expanded Occupational Health and Safety duties and move beyond minimum compliance to drive lasting cultural change.

Online training to prevent sexual harassment in the workplace

Workplace sexual harassment remains widespread and underreported, particularly in sectors shaped by hierarchy, insecure work and power imbalances. Preventing it requires proactive leadership, not just policies or complaints processes.

This free, self‑paced online training series is designed for employers, managers, HR professionals and workplace leaders to take practical action to prevent sexual harassment and build safe, respectful workplace cultures.

On completion, you’ll receive a certificate of completion for your workplace records.
